The Purcell Junior High Cross Country teams ended their incredible season Thursday morning at the Junior High All-Star meet in Chickasha. In the Class 4A races, the girls finished 10th and the boys finished 8th.
The girls team was led once again by Ali Brady. Ali finished 18th overall in a time of 10:18 in the 2400 meter race.
Ava Midkiff came across the line in 10:57 to finish 49th. Coming in 73rd and 74th were Kyleigh Dunagan and Lily Mainka respectively with times of 11:30 and 11:30.
Belen Resendiz finished in 11:48 for 88th place. Also running were Kori Doyal and Val Marquez.
The boys team was led by Tripp Eck. Eck paced the team finishing the 3200 meter race 20th overall with a time of 13:02.
Hendrix Hayes was next across the line. He finished in 13:29 to place 34th.
Josiah Allen and Jae Swanner were 48th and 50th respectively.
Allen ran a 14:15. Swanner crossed the finish line in 14:19 Coming in 73rd was Noel Chavez. He ran a 15:06. Also running for the boys were Easton Davis and Grady Andrews.
