The Wayne Lady Bulldogs were in Lawton on Monday where they picked up a 10-6 win over MacArthur. They also had a game with Fletcher, but it was rained out.

They were scheduled to be in Wewoka on Tuesday.

The Lady Bulldogs hosted Districts on Wednesday with Savanna and Stratford. Games started at 11 a.m. Look for a recap in next week’s issue of the Purcell Register.

Lawton MacArthur

Wayne collected 21 hits on the way to a 10-6 win on Monday night.

Jordynn Debaets led her team with four hits and four RBIs. The senior hit for the cycle – a single in the first, a double in the third, a triple in the seventh and a home run in the eighth inning.

Several other Lady Bulldogs had multiple hits in the win, including Karsen Adams who had three. Addison Keeler, Lily Whitaker, Faith Brazell, Ava Stottlemyre and Ashley Hayles had two apiece.

Carnegie

Late last week, Wayne picked up a 26-9 win over Carnegie. They had 21 hits and 23 RBIs.

Brazell was the leader at the plate with four hits and six ribbies.

Taelyn Ringwald and Audra Watts had three hits. Watts and Debaets had three RBIs.

Stottlemyre was in the circle for the win. She allowed nine runs on 10 hits.
