The price of single copies of The Purcell Register will increase to $1 each beginning with the May 2 edition.

The increase in price is necessary to offset rising costs, according to publisher John D. Montgomery.

“We value all of our loyal readers and look forward to serving The Heart of Oklahoma in the years to come,” he said.

Subscriptions remain $33 for a year for McClain, Garvin and Cleveland Counties and $47 for all other counties in Oklahoma.
