The Washington golf team opened the season at the Purcell Invitational, shooting a team score of 367.
They finished 8th in the 20-team field.
Sophomore Logan Janaway shot the team’s low round with an 85.
Senior Wyatt Denton shot 89, Jakob Shea shot 93, Jax Mitchell shot 100 and Koeden Simpson shot 105.
OCS won the tournament with a 316.
Blanchard’s Carson Browning had the low individual round with a 72.
The Warriors return to the links March 27 at Jimmie Austin Golf Course in Seminole.
