Thanksgiving service Sunday

The annual Heartland Ministerial Alliance Community Thanksgiving Service will be held November 19 at the First Baptist Church in Purcell.

The alliance has member churches from Purcell, Lexington, Wayne and Washington.

The service, which will begin at 6 p.m., will feature ministers and members from all the alliance churches leading in music and worship as well as leading members of the greater Purcell community in giving paise and thanksgiving to God for an amazing year.

Nathan Mullins, pastor of Lighthouse Worship Center and most recent member of the ministerial alliance, will serve as guest speaker for the service.

There will be a love offering toward the conclusion of the service for the ministries sponsored by the alliance.

There will also be a dessert fellowship immediately following the service in the FBC Gathering Hall, right outside the worship center.

The alliance invites all of Purcell, Lexington, Wayne and the adjoining communities to join in on this special community service.
