Terrie Lyne Castleman died surrounded by family March 13, 2024, in Wanette at the age of 60 years 2 months 23 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Wanette Baptist Church, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Terrie was born December 21, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Jerry and Nancy (Ford) Frair. Her formative years were nurtured in the embrace of Tecumseh, where she diligently pursued her education.
In the tapestry of her life’s journey, a significant chapter unfolded on April 19, 1990, when she exchanged vows with Gary Castleman in Norman, Oklahoma. Terrie dedicated numerous years of service as a Loan Officer, culminating in her well-deserved retirement from Tower Loan in 2019. The essence of who she was transcended these professional accomplishments.
Terrie’s spirit found solace and joy in the simple beauties of life - tending to her beloved plants, embarking on exhilarating motorcycle adventures with dear friends, and seeking moments of excitement at the casino. However, above all else, her heart bloomed brightest in the presence of her family. Each cherished moment spent with them held profound significance. Her little companion, JJ, nestled deeply within her affections, embodying a bond of unwavering love.
Terrie was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Nancy Frair; her mother- and father-in-law, Paul and Sharon Castleman; her brother, Jerry W. Frair; her sister-in-law, Linda Howen; and her great-niece, Maya Grace Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Castleman; her sisters, Linda Heflin and Lisa Buckmaster; her brothers, Donnie Frair and Dennis Frair; her nieces, April Martin and Heather Ledger; her sisters-in-law, Debbie Snow, Margie Schafer and Karen Martin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
