The 34th Annual Purcell Bonus Auction is slated.

The auction will be held Thursday, February 22, at the Purcell Agriculture Education Building at 6 p.m.

Twenty-six students will be participating.

The public is welcome to attend.

The Purcell Public School Foundation will hold an open meeting for the public Thursday, February 22, at 12 noon.

The meeting will be held in the Administration Building multi-purpose room in the building that formerly housed Purcell Intermediate School, behind the library.

Let the Mobile Maker Lab Team help you make beautiful things! Learn to use the 3D printers, laser cutters, embroidery machines and more.

The Maker Lab will be open Tuesday, March 12, from 1-7 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, March 14, from 1-5 p.m., Friday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, March16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The program is for all ages.

Daylight Saving Time is March 10! Time to spring forward.

Mark your calendar now and don’t forget to turn your clocks forward one hour when you go to bed Saturday night, March 9.

This is one my family’s favorite recipes and whenever I make it they all comment that we should have this more often. It comes from my long-time friend Rhonda Aduddell from Mill Creek, Okla.

Rhonda Casserole

1 lb. hamburger

1 diced onion

1 can Ranch Style Beans

1 can of enchilada sauce

1 can of cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup picante

2 cups cheese

Bag of small Fritos

Preheat oven to 350°.

Cook hamburger and onion together. Mix together all other ingredients except Fritos.

Place Fritos in the bottom of a 9x13 pyrex dish. Top with hamburger mixture and cheese.

Bake for about 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
