Four Lady Bulldogs were chosen for the Canadian Valley All-Star team. They are Leslie Barber, Ryli Harmon, Izzy Pack and Abby Turnpaugh.

The All-Star game was scheduled for Monday night in Dale, but heavy rains canceled the event.

Tuesday evening, Lexington’s slow-pitch team was supposed to be in Davis. But wet fields canceled yet another game.

Last week, Lexington dropped a 12-0 game with Class 4A #1 Dale.

They also lost to Harrah, 9-6 last Tuesday.

The Lady Panthers jumped out from, scoring one run in each of the first three innings.

Lexington finally got on the board in the fourth when Pack and Abby Sample each scored runs.

They added three more in the fifth to take the 5-3 lead.

But, Harrah didn’t go away quietly, scoring five in the sixth to pull away.

The Lady ‘Dawgs added one more run from Marisa Northrup, but couldn’t get the win in the end.

Several Lady ‘Dawgs finished the game with two hits, including Pack, Sample, Harmon, Northrup, Madilyn Dunn and Emilee Pierce.

Last Thursday, Lexington lost to Dibble, 17-9.

With three runs scored in the first inning, the Lady ‘Dawgs were holding a 3-2 lead.

But, the Lady Demons broke the game wide open, scoring 10  runs in the second.

Their scoring onslaught was too much for Lexington.

The Lady ‘Dawgs have a 5-9 record and were scheduled to play in Davis on Tuesday.

They play the Lady Warriors at noon in the first round of the Washington tournament on Thursday.
