Last week, Lexington split their games – an 18-3 win over Blanchard Tuesday and a 10-9 loss to Byng on Thursday.

They were in Wynnewood on Tuesday.

The Lady ‘Dawgs travel to Tishomingo on Thursday for the District tournament along with Davis. Their first game, against the Lady Wolves, is at noon today (Thursday).

Blanchard

Last Tuesday, Lexington outhit the Lady Lions 15-7 to pick up the 18-3 win.

Brodie Anderson was the leader at the plate with three hits. Jocelyn Senn, Cilee Turner and Payton Veley had two hits apiece.

Turner and Veley each had four ribbies.

The Lady ‘Dawgs jumped out to a 1-0 lead after the first inning.

They poured it on in the second, scoring 11 runs. And, with two more added in the third and four in the fourth, Lexington ran away with the win.

Turner was in the circle for one inning. She allowed one hit and gave up three walks. Kiely Givens came on in relief. She pitched three innings and fanned two batters.

Byng

Last Thursday, Lexington lost a heartbreaker to Byng, 10-9.

The score was tied up 3-3 through three innings. Lexington pushed two runs across in the fourth and held Byng scoreless. They added four more in the fifth inning to hold a 9-3 lead.

But, Byng made a furious comeback, scoring six runs in the bottom of the fifth to tie the score once again, 9-9.

Lexington didn’t score in the sixth, but Byng got the go-ahead run to win, 10-9.

The Lady ‘Dawgs collected 19 hits in the loss. Senn was the leader at the plate with four. Baylee Rillema and Turner each had three.
