Bonnie (Tompkins) Seabourn

Graveside services for Bonnie (Tompkins) Seabourn, 90, were held April 3, 2024 at the Washington Cemetery in Washington, Okla., officiated by Gary Rollins of North MacArthur Church of Christ in Oklahoma City.

Mrs. Seabourn died Mach 28, 2024 in Oklahoma City.

Mrs. Seabourn was married to the love of her life, Bert Seabourn, for 72 years.

Born October 18, 1933, in Washington, Okla., she graduated from Purcell High School in 1951. After the birth of their first daughter in September 1951, they lived a short time in San Diego and finished Bert’s Navy tour of duty in Honolulu, where their second daughter was born in May 1954, returning to Oklahoma the next year.

Bonnie is survived by three daughters, Connie Seabourn (Kathy Buttry) of Oklahoma City, Angela Webb (Tom) of Oklahoma City and Jimmie Seabourn of Enid, Okla.; four grandchildren, Heather Webb Bush (Brad), Elizabeth Seabourn West (Cory), Rachel Webb Webb (Mark) and Carson Seabourn Webb (Candace); 11 great-grandchildren, Jordan Bush, Tyler Bush, Paige Bush, Colton Bush, Piper Bush, Maya Seabourn Dean, Savannah West-Jepsen, Brooks Webb, Helen Webb, Edward Webb and Lucy Webb and two great-great-granddaughters Ellie and Lucy Bush. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Joe Dale and Tracy Tompkins and sister-in-law, Norma Tompkins, all of Purcell, Okla.; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She lived a long life filled with adventures experienced with her husband and family. She always had great style and definitely had spunk. Her grandchildren always loved having her and their grandpa attend and support their many performances and gym meets and she was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Seabourn; her parents, Joe Tompkins and Blanche (Bratcher) Tompkins; sisters, Gloria Tompkins, Wanda Tompkins and Shirley (Tompkins) Richardson and brother, Lynn Tompkins.

Bonnie enjoyed reading, sewing, music and art. She was loved by many and will be missed.
