Washington opens district play on the road at Little Axe Friday night.
The Indians will be looking for their first win of the season when the two teams square off at 7 p.m.
Washington Head Coach Brad Beller said Little Axe will operate out of the spread formation on offense and employ a multiple defense.
“They will be in a 3-3-5 or a 4-3 on defense,” Beller said of the Indian scouting report.
“The key for us is to make sure we go out and execute and do the little things correctly,” Beller continued. “We will need to tackle well in space defending their spread offense.
“We need to take care of the football and pay attention to little things,” he concluded.
Washington is 2-1 on the season while Little Axe is 0-3.
