Lexington will travel to Dibble this Friday night for a 7 p.m. showdown with the Dibble Demons.
Lexington is coming off a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Antlers Bearcats last Friday night.
Jackson Torres found the end zone after catching a 25-yard pass off the arm of freshman quarterback Sawyer Beers.
Lexington Head Coach Sean Guerra said his squad had a chance.
“We stayed with them until halftime,” Guerra said. “We’re getting better but we need to put an entire game together.
“Dibble is coming off a tough loss to Tishomingo so they will be ready to go,” Guerra said of the Demons.
Dibble will base their defense out of a 4-3 and run a two-back power offense.
“They throw just enough to keep you honest,” Guerra said. “They have some big hogs up front that pave the way for their backs.”
Kick off is set for 7 p.m.’
Guerra had no nominations for Player of the Week.
