Marion Louise (Zwicker) Weeden

Marion Weeden, 99, of Allen, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 14, surrounded by family.

Marion Louise (Zwicker) Weeden was born November 14, 1924 to Ronald Guy and Myrtle Lena Zwicker in Leominster, Massachusetts. She was the second of three children born to the couple.

During WWII, she married Lewis Weeden, a young soldier stationed at nearby Ft. Devens. After the war, they moved to his hometown of Washington, Oklahoma, where they established a dairy farm and raised their four children. Marion was active in her community and worked for several years as a baker and cake decorator after her children were grown.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Merrill Zwicker and Dawn Lowe.

She is survived by her children, Lynne Kay (Weeden) Holkan, Scott Weeden, Jon Weeden and wife, Cheryl, and Lew Weeden and wife, Jenene; her five grandchildren, Greg Holkan and wife, Cindy, Whitney (Holkan) Baker and husband, Danny, Christopher Weeden and wife, Joy, Lukas Weeden and wife, Mindy, and Landon Weeden and wife, Kayla; and great-grandchildren, Audrey, Micah, Charlotte, Aidan, Chloe, Tracyn and Palmer.

Marion wished to be cremated and buried beside her husband, Lewis, in Washington Cemetery. Information regarding the burial of her ashes will be shared at a later date.
