Funeral Services for Eunice Lee, 82, of Alex, Okla. will be held  at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the Hawkins Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will be at the Hale Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.

Mrs. Lee entered Heaven on April 2, 2023.

She was born in Dibble, Oklahoma, on December 30, 1940, to Alvis and Naomi Meek. She was the oldest of three children.

Eunice graduated from Dibble High School in 1958 and moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, upon graduation to attend Draughon Business School.

Eunice married her soulmate, Bruce Lee, on September 30, 1960, in Tabler, Okla., who also graduated from Dibble High School in 1956. She and Bruce moved to the farm in the Dibble/Alex area in 1968 where they operated a dairy farm.

Eunice was a prayer warrior and true servant of God. She raised her family in the Hawkins Freewill Baptist Church. She epitomized the true definition of her maiden name “Meek.” She always thought of everyone else above herself. She was the best Mother to her four children and wife to Bruce.

After the tragic loss of Bruce’s brother in an auto accident, he and Eunice along with his sister, Shay, accepted guardianship of his nephew Brian Lee who currently still lives next door to Eunice.

Eunice leaves behind four daughters, Dana Reed and husband, Ricky, of Dibble, Brenda Hall and husband, Greg, of Norman, Marla Peck and husband, Jeff, of Minco, and Nichole Funk of Norman; Brian Lee, nephew of Alex, and Roger Funk, son-in-law of Alex.

Eunice was a loving Grandmother to Brianna Harris and husband, Joshua, of Reno, Nevada, Ransom Reed and wife, Evan, of Norman, Sarah Masterson and husband, Blake, of Oklahoma City, Tori Garner and husband, Jeremiah, of Dibble, Aaron Grigg and wife, Morgan, of Broken Arrow, Morgan Funk and Mersades Funk of Norman; and great-grandchildren, Emery, Bentley, Bryson, Braylyn, Ryanne, Reed and Harper.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce; parents, Alvis and Naomi Meek, and granddaughter Kristin Rogers.  Eunice also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
