Yuletide cheer is synonymous with time off and that certainly applies to a Christmas break.
The Purcell Register will be closed on Friday, December 22, and will be open Tuesday, December 26. All deadlines of noon on Tuesday will remain the same.
Federal and McClain County offices will be closed Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26, and January 1 for New Years Day.
There will be no mail delivery on Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1.
City offices in Purcell will be closed Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26, and Monday, January 1.
City workers in Wayne will be off Friday, December 22, and Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1.
Goldsby, Lexington and Washington town halls will be off Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26, and January 1 for New Years.
Students, staff and faculty at Purcell Public Schools, Lexington Public Schools and Mid-America Technology Center will resume classes January 4.
Washington Schools and Wayne Schools will be back in the classroom on January 3.
Both First United Bank and McClain Bank will be closed Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1.
In addition, McClain Bank’s lobby will close at 3 p.m. Friday.
