The Wayne Lady Bulldogs dropped a 16-11 game with Alex on Monday.
Head coach Nikki Herrin said her club is working hard on pitch selection at the plate.
“The angle is hard in slow pitch, so we’re practicing a lot on pitch selection to get line drives.”
Senior Kaylee Madden had an in-the-park home run in the loss that scored three runs.
Wayne was at CCS on Tuesday for games with Luther and the Royals.
Weather permitting, they will be at Dibble on Thursday and hosting the Wayne festival on Friday.
