The Washington Warrior cross country team placed third at the appropriately named Blanchard Burner on August 19.
It was their first meet of the season.
Rielyn Scheffe placed first individually with a time of 12:46.79 over the two-mile course.
Other Warriors placing were: Jayden Wells - 6th, Aubrey Grimes - 25th, Shiloh Phelps - 31st, Giselle Rodriguez - 38th, Addison Lanham - 60th and Addi Jackson - 76th.
The team had an average finishing time of 14:36.48.
