A semi-trailer truck fire in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 closed the highway down for two hours and 14 minutes Saturday evening.
Purcell firefighters responded to the fire that was fully contained in the engine and cab portion of the rig just before 6:30 p.m.
Also on scene were Purcell Police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Firemen said a malfunction in the engine was apparently the cause of the blaze.
There were no reported injuries.
