Trentin Oakley Collett died July 27, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 22 years 3 months 28 days. Funeral services were held Monday, July 31, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Byars, Oklahoma. Interment followed at the Dibble Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Trentin was born on March 30, 2001, in Purcell, Oklahoma, to Phillip Collett and Dianna (Holman) Henderson. He grew up in Byars and completed his education at Wanette in 2020.

A diligent worker by nature, Trentin found fulfillment in his roles as a mechanic and in construction. He also had a passion for auctioneering. Yet beyond his professional pursuits, Trentin found pure joy in the great outdoors. Whether he was fishing or riding ATVs or camping with loved ones, he embraced every moment of adventure. However, his greatest source of happiness was undoubtedly spending quality time with his family, especially his cherished son, Zackary.

Trentin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herb and Edna Collett, and Kenneth and Ruth Holman.

Survivors include his son, Zackary Collett of Wanette; his mother, Dianna Henderson of Wanette; his father, Phillip Collett of Helena, Oklahoma; his brother, Dustin Collett of Wanette; his brother, Bradley Collett and wife, Tessa of Byars; his nephews, Waylon Collett and Weston Collett, both of Byars; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
