McClain County is set to receive up to $225,000 for rural road repairs.
County Commissioners were recently notified each of the three districts is tentatively in line to receive Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grants totalling $75,000 each.
The funding is earmarked to be used for rural road repairs.
Final word will come from the Department of Commerce for approval.
Statewide, $3,660,922.70 has been allocated.
“We do not anticipate any changes, but there is always a chance,” a department spokesman said.
