The filing period for school board seats and the Purcell City Council have drawn to a close with several races developing.
Filing for Office No. 4 on the Purcell Council Division 2 were Chris Hurt and Greg Wheat.
Filing for Division 3 was Joe Franco.
Joe Ray was the only person filing for Mid-America Technology’s board.
A race developed for the Wayne School Board seat.
Ryan Morris, Shad Blackwell and Harvey Fisher all filed for the seat.
Holly Baker is unopposed for her seat on the Purcell Board of Education.
A race has developed in the scramble for a seat on the Washington School Board.
Filing in Washington’s district were Clayton Colley, Adam Price and Ashley Teel.
Stephen Swaim and Sheri Phillips both filed for the position on the Dibble Board of Education.
