McClain County Commissioners appointed Elizabeth Patrick as the new McClain County Assessor at their regular weekly meeting Monday at the county courthouse.

Patrick replaces Kendal Sacchieri, who resigned after being elected to the Oklahoma State Senate.

No person in Oklahoma can hold two elected positions so Sacchieri had to resign once she won the senate seat.
