After having a Friday night off last week, Lexington will be back in the fray this Friday night against Wayne.
Bulldog Coach Keith Bolles said he is sure coach Brandon Sharp has been working on correcting mistakes that were made in their 24-8 loss to the Konawa Tigers last week.
“They had some big play opportunities and I’m sure coach Sharp is working on getting those corrected,” Bolles said.
“They improve each week,” Bolles continued about Wayne. “I expect a good game and we’re looking forward to Friday night.”
Bolles reports Wayne runs a spread offense and operates out of a 4-4 stack on defense.
“Their defensive line is aggressive and penetrates that causes havoc in the backfield,” Bolles said. “Their linebackers flow really well.
“They have a good running back,” the coach continued. “It’s early on in the season. They are finding their identity like a lot of teams are doing.”
