Purcell Junior High and High School lifters participated in the Oklahoma Powerlifting Coaches Association state meet in El Reno last week.
In the high school division 157 pound class, Adam Edelman placed second with a total of 1,060 pounds.
Rowan Ardery finished sixth in the 181 pound class with a total of 1,215 pounds while Jose Tarango lifted in the 157 pound class and had a total of 705 pounds.
In the junior high ninth grade division Guillermo Martinez was sixth in the 181 pound class with a total of 1,030 pouds and in the seventh grade 181 pound class Westyn Ackerman was 12th with a total lift of 615 pounds.
