Yuletide cheer is synonymous with time off – even when those holidays fall on the weekend.
The Purcell Register will be closed on December 23.
Federal and McClain County offices will be closed December 26 anad 27 and January 2 for New Years.
There will be no mail delivery on Monday after Christmas and Monday after New Years.
State workers will have an extra day off at Christmas, closing on Monday and Tuesday.
City workers in Purcell will be off Friday, Monday and January 2. That is the same as Wayne’s holiday closings.
Goldsby and Lexington town halls will be off Monday and Tuesday after Christmas and January 2 for New Years.
Students, staff and faculty at Purcell Public Schools have been off since December 16. Classes will resume January 3.
Wayne Schools’s Christmas break began Monday and will run through January 2.
The holidays began for Washington Schools and Mid-America Technology Center on Wednesday with everyone back in the classroom on January 4.
Lexington Schools will begin the new semester on January 4 after a break that started December 16.
Both First United Bank and McClain Bank will be closed Monday and January 2.
In addition, McClain Bank’s lobby will close at 3 p.m. Friday.
Washington Schools will be closed from December 20 to January 5.
