Yuletide cheer is synonymous with time off, and that certainly applies to a Christmas break.
The Purcell Register will be closed Wednesday, December 24, through Friday, December 26, and will be open on Monday, December 29. All deadlines of noon on Tuesday will remain the same.
Federal and McClain County offices will be closed Thursday, December 25, and January 1 for New Years.
There will be no mail delivery on Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1.
The Purcell Public Library will be closed Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday, December 25.
City offices in Purcell will be closed Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday, December 25, and Monday, January 1.
City workers in Wayne will be off Thursday, December 25, and Monday, January 1.
City offices in Washington will be closed Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday, December 25, and Wednesday, December 31 and Thursday, January 1.
City workers in Lexington will be off Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, and Thursday, January 1.
Goldsby town halls will be closed Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, and Thursday, January 1, for New Years.
Students, staff and faculty at Purcell Public Schools, Lexington Public Schools, Washington Public Schools and Mid-America Technology Center will resume classes January 6.
Wayne Schools will be back in the classroom on January 5.
Both First United Bank and McClain Bank will be closed Thursday, December 25, and Monday, January 1.
In addition, McClain Bank and First United Bank will both close at noon on Wednesday, December 24.
