A wet and sometimes stormy Memorial Day weekend provided Central Oklahoma with a quenching drink of water.
Purcell recorded 2.25” while Washington came in on the Oklahoma Mesonet with an even 3”. Over the three-day weekend, Byars recorded .92”.
The year-to-date total for Purcell unofficially is 27.04” while Oklahoma City has recorded 19.95” this year at Will Rogers International Airport.
Normal for the year-to-date is 13.32”.
Additional rain is in the forecast for next week.
