Landmark Church hosting service

Posted

Heartland Ministerial Alliance’s annual Community Thanksgiving Service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Landmark Church.

This marks the second year the reformed alliance has sponsored the community event which unites churches across denominational boundaries.

The Rev. Rick Harrison, pastor of First Baptist Church in Wayne, will bring the message.

All other churches within the alliance will be sharing different parts of the service.

Special music will be provided by the Hispanic choir from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

“This is a wonderful time for the community to be able to come together under one roof to celebrate all the blessings of God,” said Dr. Timothy Smith, senior pastor at First Baptist Church in Purcell.

“No matter what church you are part of or if you aren’t part of any church, you and your family are invited to join Heartland Ministerial Alliance on Sunday night at Landmark Church,” he continued.

After the service, there will be time for fellowship. Desserts and coffee will be served.
