Voters in the Washington School District voted overwhelmingly for a $7.14 million bond issue Tuesday.
The measure passed 464-178 for a 72.27 percent margin.
As in all school bond issues, the yes votes have to be a super majority of at least 60 percent to pass.
The measure is for interior upgrades, exterior repairs, football stadium improvements, paving and fencing, water distribution and life safety systems.
“The bond is not about building new, but about caring for what we already have,” Superintendent Chris Reynolds said.
