Washington’s 2025 homecoming will be held tonight (Thursday) prior to the Lexington football contest at Reed Field.
The change from Friday to Thursday was due to possible thunderstorms predicted for Friday, school officials said.
The annual homecoming parade will begin at 2:45 p.m. with the coronation starting at 6:26 p.m. followed by the 7 p.m. kick off Thursday.
Queen candidates include Payton Blackburn, Kelby Beller, Emersyn Massey, Kynsli Hyde, Hayven Morris and Bella Andrews.
King candidates include Lane Taylor, Sam Cantrell, Kingston Stringer, Blake Heiliger, Kinser Scott, Dawson Scott and Ricky Ramirez.
The flower girl and crown bearer will be Palmer Orendain and McCoy Green.
