FOR RE-ZONING APPLICATION

NOTICE: AN APPLICATION HAS BEEN FILED WITH THE TOWN CLERK OF THE TOWN OF GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA, TO RE-ZONE THE FOLLOWING TRACT(S) OF LAND FROM A-1 AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL TO R-1 LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL.

STREET ADDRESS: NW 24th Avenue Section 27 & 28, T8N, R3W Lat./Long. -97.50819 35.13442 (See map exhibit A).

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

A part of the Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of Section Twenty-seven (27), and a part of of the Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section 28, Township Eight (8) North, Range Three(3) West of the Indian Meridian, McClain County Oklahoma, More Particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest Corner of said SW/4; Thence N 89°37’33” E along the North line of said SW/4 a distance of 108.80 feet; Thence S 10°54’40” E a distance of 189.43 feet; Thence S 03°55’52” W a distance of 660.32 feet; Thence S 89°38’14” W a distance of 96.34 feet to a point on the West line of said SW/4; Thence N 00°12’25” W along the West line of said SW/4 a distance of 305.53 feet; Thence N89°03’01” W a distance of 91.47 feet; Thence N 00°12’25” W a distance of 527.23 feet to a point on the North line of said SE/4; Thence N89°’27’47” E along the North line of said SE/4 a distance of 90.76 feet to the Point of Beginning. Contains 3.47 acres, more or less.

BASIS OF BEARINGS: Established bearing of N 00°12’25” W along the West line of the SW/4 of section 28 by GPS Observation.

THE PROPOSED RE-ZONING WILL BE BROUGHT FOR PUBLIC HEARING AT THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING ON THE 27th DAY OF AUGUST, 2026, AT 6:30 P.M. AT TOWN HALL,100 E. CENTER RD, GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA, AT WHICH TIME AND PLACE ANY AFFECTED PERSON (S) MAY APPEAR TO PROTEST OR SUPPORT THE PASSAGE THEREOF. ANY WRITTEN PROTEST MUST BE FILED WITH THE TOWN CLERK PRIOR TO 4:00 P.M. OF THE DAY OF SAID COMMISSION MEETING.

THE PROPOSED RE-ZONING WILL SUBSEQUENTLY BE BROUGHT TO PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONSIDERATION AT THE GOLDSBY TOWN BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING, GOLDSBY TOWN HALL, 100 E. CENTER RD., AT 7:30 P.M. ON THE 10TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2026. ANY WRITTEN PROTEST FOR THIS MEETING MUST BE FILED WITH THE TOWN CLERK AT LEAST THREE (3) DAYS PRIOR TO THE MEETING DATE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW (11 O.S. 1981 § 43-105).
