FOR RE-ZONING APPLICATION

GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA

NOTICE: AN APPLICATION HAS BEEN FILED WITH THE TOWN CLERK OF THE TOWN OF GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA, TO RE-ZONE THE FOLLOWING TRACT(S) OF LAND FROM PUD, Planning Unit Development TO C-1  Highway Commercial.

STREET ADDRESS: 3139 S Interstate Dr Norman OK 73072 McClain County Assessor parcel number 440007409 35°11’02.4”N, 97°29’28.3”W (35.18399, -97.49118).

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: 

A part of the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section Eleven (11), Township Eight (8) North, Range Three (3) West, I.M., McClain County, Oklahoma, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southweest Corner (SW/C); thence East 663.04 feet; thence North 600.00 feet to a true Point of Beginning, said Point of Beginning being on the East Right-of-Way line of Interstate #35; thence East 668.01 feet; thence North 132.32 feet; thence West 627.39 feet to a Point on the East Right-of-Way line of Interstate #35; thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 5579.60 feet, an arc distance of 145.54 feet to the true Point of Beginning

THE PROPOSED RE-ZONING WILL BE BROUGHT FOR PUBLIC HEARING AT THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING ON THE 23rd DAY OF JULY, 2026, AT 6:30 P.M. AT  TOWN HALL,100 E. CENTER RD, GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA, AT WHICH TIME AND PLACE ANY AFFECTED PERSON(S) MAY APPEAR TO PROTEST OR SUPPORT THE PASSAGE THEREOF.  ANY WRITTEN PROTEST MUST BE FILED WITH THE TOWN CLERK PRIOR TO 4:00 P.M. OF THE DAY OF SAID COMMISSION MEETING.  

THE PROPOSED RE-ZONING WILL SUBSEQUENTLY BE BROUGHT TO PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONSIDERATION AT THE GOLDSBY TOWN BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING, GOLDSBY TOWN HALL, 100 E. CENTER RD., AT 7:30 P.M. ON THE 13TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2026.  ANY WRITTEN PROTEST FOR THIS MEETING MUST BE FILED WITH THE TOWN CLERK AT LEAST THREE (3) DAYS PRIOR TO THE MEETING DATE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW (11 O.S. 1981 § 43-105).  DATED THIS 29TH DAY OF JUNE, 2026.
