ORDINANCE 2026-001

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT DESIGNATION, AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE TOWN OF GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA, SO AS TO REMOVE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LAND FROM THE A-1-AGRICUL TURAL-RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT OF SAID TOWN, AND TO PLACE THE SAME IN THE I-1 - GENERAL INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICT OF SAID TOWN:

The following described Tracts of Land Lying in Section Fourteen (14), Township Eight (8) North, Range Three (3) West of the Indian Meridian, McClain County, Oklahoma, being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the NE/4 of Section 14; Thence N 89°56’21” E along the said North line a distance of 1099.76 feet to the Point of Beginning; Thence continuing N 89°56’21” E a distance of 222.64 feet to the East line of the NW/4 NE/4 of said Section 14;

Thence S 00°09’19” E along the East line of said NW/4 NE/4 a distance of 202.39 feet;

Thence N 47°49’52” W a distance of 301.14 feet to the Point of Beginning.

Thence 813.80 feet along the Arc of said Curve to the Left, Having a Radius of 994.90 feet, the Long Chord of Which Bears N 24°45’07” W a distance of 791.30 feet;

Thence N 48°11’06’’ W a distance of 495.65 feet to the North Line of the SE/4 of the NE/4 of said Section 14;

Thence N 89°50’19” E along said North Line a distance of 772.14 feet to the Northeast Corner of the SE/4 NE/4 of said Section 14;

Thence S 00°12’22” E along the East Line of said SE/4 of the NE/4 a distance of 1050.98 feet to the Point of Beginning.

WHEREAS, the owner of the hereinafter described property made application to the Town of Goldsby to have said property rezoned and removed from the A-1 - Agricultural-Residential Zoning District and placed in the I-1 - General Industrial Zoning District of said Town; and

WHEREAS, said application has been referred to the Planning Commission of said Town, and said Commission, at public meeting, after public hearing, and upon notice by mail and by publication as by law required, considered said application and recommended that the same should be granted and an ordinance adopted to effect and accomplish said rezoning; and

WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees of the Town of Goldsby, Oklahoma, at public meeting, after public hearing upon notice as by law required, has considered said application and has determined that said application should be granted and an ordinance adopted to effect and accomplish said rezoning;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA:

Section 1. The Zoning District Designation, as shown on the Official Zoning District Map of the Town of Goldsby, Oklahoma, is hereby amended and changed so as to place the following described property, to-wit:
