Law enforcement from at least three agencies were involved in a dangerous situation on the north edge of Purcell Wednesday afternoon.
A person had barricaded himself in a house after an attempt was made to serve a warrant at 250th and End of Trail Road.
McClain County Sheriff Landy Offolter reports his department was backing up the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department when the person went into the house.
That’s when the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Tactical unit was called to the scene.
All three agencies were on the scene until the situation was resolved about 3:45 p.m.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.
The suspect was being transported to the Cleveland County Detention Center.
