The Lady Bulldogs’ woes continued last week with losses to Lindsay (10-4), Jones (6-5) and to Heritage Hall on Monday (13-2).
Kiely Givens went 2-4 at the plate against Lindsay, accounting for two of Lexington’s four hits. Maison Sissney and Hannah Garrett each had a hit.
Garrett was in the circle where she fanned two batters.
Lexington racked up eight hits against Jones, led by Sissney and Mackenzie Manuel’s two. Givens, Garrett, Jocelyn Senn and Marisa Northrup had hits also.
Sissney led the team in ribbies with three.
On Monday, Givens and Manuel had Lexington’s two hits in their loss to Heritage Hall.
Batters showed patience at the plate with seven walks in the game. However, 14 strikeouts were difficult to overcome.
Lexington was scheduled to be in Holdenville on Tuesday. They will be in Sterling starting Thursday for the Southwest Shootout. Lexington will play 2A Cashion in their first game on Thursday.
