Plainview’s Ethan Savage has been named one of the 100 Academic All Staters by the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence.

Savage is the son of Dr. Adam Savage and his wife, Suni, both of whom are Purcell High School graduates.

He is the grandson of Purcell residents Mike and Rhonda Savage and Tina and Lee Reimer.

Ethan is the class Valedictorian and a decorated member of the scholastic team and varsity chorus.

He serves as the captain of the academic team. Savage holds state champion titles as the OKTOC Top Scholar for his junior and sophomore years and has been named an Advanced Placement Scholar.

He is the most recent winner of the Kelli O’Hara Award for Best Performance by an Actor and he competed on the national stage at the Jimmy Awards for high school musical theater.
