Robert Joseph “Bobby” Phillips, age 53, of Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. Bobby was born March 15, 1969, in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Edna Regena (Long) Phillips and Ken Brown. He graduated from Purcell High School in Purcell, Okla.
He had bright blue eyes and curly brown hair. He was the proud father of two sons, Dylan Phillips and Matthew Allen, and he loved to take them fishing. Bobby loved his mother’s cooking and spending time with her.
He lived in Oklahoma his whole life but traveled extensively for work as a heavy crane operator. He tried to have a good outlook on life and will be forever remembered smiling and saying, “Today’s my birthday.”
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Phillips and father, Ken Brown.
He was survived by two sons who he loved dearly, Dylan Phillips and Matthew Allen of Minco, Okla.; siblings, Regina Cooper and husband, Darryl, of La Marque, Texas, Calvin Phillips Jr. and wife, Loritha, of Ada, Okla., Judy Jacob and husband, Jake, of Choctaw, Okla., Gary Phillips of Lexington, Okla., Gayla Coykendall and husband, Jeff, of Ponca City, Okla., and Scott Maslar and wife, Jenai, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; estranged wife, Misty Phillips and two stepchildren, Morgan and Dallas of Oklahoma City, Okla.; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
