COMBINED NOTICE TO CREDITORS, PETITION FOR SUMMARY ADMINISTRATION, PROBATE OF WILL,
HEARING ON THE FINAL
ACCOUNT, PETITION FOR A DETERMINATION OF HEIRS, FOR DISTRIBUTION OF THE ESTATE AND DISCHARGE.
NOTICE IS HEREBY given to all persons interested in the Estate of William Lee Erickson, deceased, that on this date, Margaret K. Carroll, whose residence address is 2127 East Redbud Rd., Washington, OK 73093, filed a Petition for Summary Administration and Probate of Decedent’s Last Will and Testament, dated the 14th day of January, 2019 in the District Court of McClain County, 121 N. 2nd Ave., Purcell, State of Oklahoma. Said Petition prayed that Letters of Administration issue to Margaret K. Carroll appointing her as Personal Representative. Said Petition further prays that the heirs at law of said Decedent be determined; that a Final Account be approved, the property subject to the jurisdiction of this Court be distributed; and that the Special Administrator be discharged and for other relief as prayed for in said Petition, which Petition you may refer to for further particulars.
TO ALL CREDITORS OF THE ABOVE NAMED DECEDENT: All creditors having claims against William Lee Erickson, Deceased, are required to present the same, with a description of all security interests and other collateral (if any) held by each creditor with respect to such claim, to Margaret K. Carroll, Personal Representative, c/o J. Brent Galyon, Attorney at Law, 7 Mickey Mantle Dr., Suite 377, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73104, on or before the presentment date of the 10th day of January, 2026 or the same will be forever barred.
The above named Decedent died on the 10th day of September, 2024, at which time the residence of Decedent was 2127 East Redbud Rd., Washington, Oklahoma 73093.
The total value of the Estate of Decedent as set for in the petition is $38,000.00.
Pursuant to an Order of said Court, notice is hereby given that the 5 day of February, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the courtroom of the undersigned Judge, or the Judge to whom this cause is assigned on said date, in the McClain County Courthouse, 121 N. 2nd Ave., Purcell, State of Oklahoma, has been appointed as the time and place for hearing said Petition, and considering all relief prayed for in the Petition presented to the Court on said date. All persons interested may appear at said hearing.
All objections to the Petition and/or any relief requested must be made in writing not less than 10 days before the date of hearing, which must be filed herein. A copy must be sent to the Petitioner and Petitioner’s attorney, and if an objection is not made within the allowed time, all persons will be deemed to have waived any objection(s) to the Petition and to the relief prayed for in said Petition.
If an objection is filed at least 10 days before the hearing date, on the hearing date the Court will determine whether summary proceedings are appropriate, and if so whether the Estate will be distributed and if so to whom.
The Special Administrator shall file the Final Account and Petition for Distribution herein on or before the 21 day of January, 2026.
