Wayne basketball is officially on break after losses to Earlsboro last Thursday.
Despite senior Ethan Mullins’ 28 points, the Wildcats beat the Bulldogs 71-60.
Fellow senior Dom Sampson added 11 and freshman Jaxon Dill had 10.
Seven Lady Bulldogs had points in their 51-35 loss the Lady Wildcats. Sophomore Haylee Durrence led the team with nine points.
McKenzie Fisher and Kaylee Madden had eight points a piece.
When their schedule resumes in January, Wayne will host Elmore City in a makeup game then be on the road for the Alex tournament January 6-8.
