NOTICE OF HEARING
STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: All persons, owners, producers, operators, purchasers and takers of oil and gas, and all other interested persons, particularly in McClain County, Oklahoma, including the following: Blue Cedar Energy, LLC; NOMS Oil, LLC; Stone Energy Resources, Ltd.; Validus Energy II Midcon LLC; Validus Energy II Midcon LLC; and, if any of the named individuals be deceased, then the unknown heirs, executors, administrators, devisees, trustees and assigns, both immediate and remote, of such deceased individual; if any of the named entities is dissolved partnership, corporation or other association, then the unknown successors, trustees and assigns, both immediate and remote, of such dissolved entity; if any of the named parties designated as a trustee is not presently acting in such capacity as trustee, then the unknown successor or successors to such trustee; if any of the named parties designated as an attorney-in-fact is not presently acting in such capacity as attorney-in-fact, then the unknown successor or successors to such attorney-in-fact; and if any of the named entities are corporations which do not continue to have legal existence, then unknown trustees or assigns of such parties.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Applicant, Novo II MidCon, LLC, has filed an application in this cause requesting the Corporation Commission to enter an order, as follows: (i) waive the requirements for written consent of the 320-acre laydown horizontal drilling and spacing units for the Deese common source of supply to be spaced by Order to issue in Cause CD No. 2026-003179, which requirement is set forth in Oklahoma Corporation Rule 165:5-7-6.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this cause will be referred to an Administrative Law Judge for hearing, taking of evidence and reporting to the Corporation Commission.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this cause will be heard before an Administrative Law Judge on the Merits Docket at 8:30 a.m., on the 6th day of October 2026 at the Will Rogers Memorial Office Building, 2401 N. Lincoln Blvd., in the Capitol Complex, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73105., and that this notice will be published as required by law and the rules of the Commission.
Due to renovation work at the Jim Thorpe Office Building, the Commission’s Oklahoma City Office is relocating to the Will Rogers Memorial Office Building at 2401 N. Lincoln Blvd., in the Capitol Complex, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73105. All hearings, docket calls, and public meetings will be conducted in the Concourse Theater or additional courtrooms located in the tunnel between the Will Rogers Memorial Office Building and the Sequoyah Memorial Office Building. The specific room location, including updates, of each scheduled hearing or public meeting will be available on or before the day of the event at the information desk in the first floor lobby of the Will Rogers Memorial Office Building and on the Commission’s website at: https://oklahoma.gov/occ/court-dockets.html
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Applicant(s) and interested parties may present testimony by telephone. The cost of telephonic communication shall be paid by the person or persons requesting its use. An interested party who wishes to participate by telephone shall contact the Applicants’ attorney, prior to the hearing date, and provide his or her name and phone number.
