Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Purcell, Oklahoma will consider at its regular meeting on January 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. a proposed ordinance to close an unused road or alleyway, described below, to be removed from the public road system.
The East Twenty (20) feet of the West Forty (40) feet of that portion of Ninth Avenue between Jefferson Street and Jackson Street, in the City of Purcell, McClain County, Oklahoma; dedicated to the public as an alley or roadway by Ordinance No. 595 enacted on November 23, 1956, insofar as it is adjacent a part of Lot 4, Block 63, City of Purcell,
THIS WRITTEN NOTICE IS BEING GIVEN MORE THAN THIRTY (30) DAYS PRIOR TO THE CONSIDERATION OF THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO THOSE HOLDERS OF A FRANCHISE OR OTHERS HAVING A SPECIAL RIGHT OR PRIVILEGE GRANTED BY ORDINANCE OR LEGISLATIVE ENACTMENT TO USE THE ABOVE­ DESCRIBED PUBLIC WAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH 11 O.S. § 42-ll0(B).
