Longtime community servant and current Purcell City Councilman Greg Wheat has announced the release of his newest endeavor.
It’s a compelling new book that weaves together the story of his life with powerful insights and self-help guidance designed to uplift and inspire.
The book, now available at GregWheat.com and on Amazon, offers readers a unique journey through personal triumphs, life lessons and practical tools for positive transformation.
A Purcell resident and a familiar face to many, Wheat has spent decades working to help improve the lives of other, both in ministry and through civic leadership.
He has faithfully served his community as a former board member and President of the Purcell Chamber of Commerce, past President of Leadership Mid-America, Secretary and member of the Purcell Tourism Committee and Program Chair for the Purcell Rotary Club.
Before stepping into public service, Wheat spent over 30 years in full time ministry, including 24 years as the pastor of a local community church.
He had roles that shaped his deep-rooted belief in giving back, helping people and working together with others for the common good.
“I didn’t set out to write a book just to tell my story,” Wheat said. “I wanted to share the experiences and lessons that could help others overcome, grow and discover the best version of themselves.”
More than a memoir, Wheat’s book offers practical advice and encouraging insights on a wide variety of topics, from personal growth and overcoming adversity to leadership, relationships and purpose.
Readers will find wisdom drawn from real-life experiences delivered with humility, heart and humor.
And there’s a surprise in store: the book includes a hidden encrypted message that answers life’s biggest questions. But there's a catch. To uncover it, readers must read every page with care and curiosity.
Whether you’re facing a turning point, seeking clarity or just looking for a good story filled with hope and honesty, Wheat’s book is a must-read for anyone looking to elevate their life.
