The big day has arrived.
The Heart of Oklahoma Music Festival makes a return engagement to downtown Purcell this Saturday.
Kicking off at 11 a.m., this all-day, family-friendly event will transform Main Street into a lively celebration of local talent and community spirit.
“We’re thrilled to welcome everyone to this year’s Heart of Oklahoma Music Festival,” Event Director Serena Melton said. “After the incredible feedback we received last year, we knew we had to make this year even bigger and we’re proud to have The Great Divide headlining the event.
“This festival is more than just a music event,” Melton continued. “It is a celebration of our community, our culture and the people who make Purcell such an exceptional place to call home. We can’t wait to showcase the spirit of our town with a weekend full of music, food and family fun.”
Festival highlights include
• Live music from local and regional performers all day long
• Food trucks serving up tasty eats and treats
• Vendor booths with local goods, art, crafts, and more
• Family-friendly activities for all ages
“This will be a huge day for Purcell with one of the biggest events ever held on Main Street,” Public Works Director Trey Phillips said.
“We will be featuring some of Oklahoma’s greatest bands in the Heart of Oklahoma. Live music, food trucks, vendors and something for everyone will be on hand that day. Come out and support this wonderful event and enjoy a family event that will help showcase our beautiful town and community,” Phillips concluded.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Bring your lawn chairs, grab your friends and family, and come enjoy small-town charm with big festival energy in the Heart of Oklahoma!
Presented by the City of Purcell, in partnership with Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce and generous local sponsors, this event showcases the best of our community—from music and food to local businesses and hospitality.
“The Chamber is proud to see how much the Heart of Oklahoma Music Festival has grown in just its second year,” said Elisabeth Baker, Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.
“We’ll have even more vendors than last year, along with storefront shopping, food trucks and live music filling Main Street,” Baker continued.
“We also love welcoming visitors from out of town and showing off our beautiful, thriving Main Street, seeing our hotels and restaurants full highlights the positive impact this festival has on our community and local businesses,” she concluded.
