Stargazing and a movie screening are on tap this Saturday at the Purcell Multi-Purpose Center.

It all begins at 6:30 with a presentation about the solar system by Ten Acre Observatory. Science experiments and demonstrations will be put on by Mad Science.

Amateurs and professionals alike are invited to bring their telescope to gaze into the night sky.

A screening of “Shrek” will be shown at 7 p.m. and participants will be entertained while eating popcorn and sno cones from Pride Popcorn and Sonshine Shaved Ice.
