Lift up your neighbor

Time will tell how this portion of our nation’s history will be remembered.

I’d just like to cancel the cancel culture.

No matter how hard some people try, you cannot erase or change what has happened for hundreds of years.

Yes, we can all be mindful of past transgressions and try not to commit them again.

But just because you don’t particularly like something, you can’t pretend it didn’t happen.

And what happened generations ago can’t be pinned on any person today.

It’s not their fault. They didn’t do it.

And for the life of me I find it a hard pill to swallow how what a person did 10-15 or 20 years ago can derail a career. That’s just me, however.

If people would spend more time picking up their neighbor instead of putting them down we’d all be much, much better off down the road.

In the you should never take anything for granted department, until your back goes out you don’t realize how good you’ve had it.

Mine has decided to go on hiatus and I sure do miss the days when I didn’t have the aching back.

This weekend is Halloween so whenever your little Hob Knob Goblins go out and when you are out and about be careful to watch out for the little spooks.

They probably aren’t going to be watching out for you since they have candy on their little minds.
