The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported a Lexington man was killed last Wednesday in a three vehicle traffic accident in Oklahoma City.
According to the patrol, Jeffery P. Morrison, 30, was riding a motorcycle westbound on I-40 following behind a freightliner and in front of a Toyota.
The OHP report said the three vehicles were near the Western Avenue exit when the Toyota, driven by Brandon L. Morris, 50, of Bethany, struck the Honda Motorcycle from behind causing the cycle to go under the Toyota.
Investigating troopers said the Toyota then lost control and struck the freightliner. After impact the Toyota came to rest in the inside shoulder facing the wrong direction. The freightliner made a controlled stop coming to rest in the outside shoulder of I-40.
