Lex to Holdenville Thursday night

On the road at the 8-1 Wolverines

Lexington, like many other schools, has bumped their Friday football game at Holdenville up a night due to the threat of thunderstorms that could be severe on Friday.

The Bulldogs will kick off against the Wolverines, who are 8-1, at 7 tonight.

Lexington is coming off a 42-6 loss last week at the hands of the Kingston Redskins.

The Bulldogs’ lone touchdown came on a 33 yard pass off the arm of Ean Caywood to Reagan Smith in the second quarter. The touchdown cut the Redskins lead down to 14-6 but the ‘Dawgs couldn’t get back into the end zone.

Turnovers once again hurt the Bulldogs. They lost three fumbles and had a pass picked off.

The stingy Redskins defense limited Lexington to 76 total yards.
