The silver lining in Lexington’s season opening loss at Bridge Creek last Friday night is their mistakes are all correctable.
That’s the word from head coach Keith Bolles after a 42-0 setback to start the season.
“The mistakes we made are all correctable,” Bolles said. “The turnover and missed blocking assignments are things we can work on for the next three weeks to get ready for district play.”
The Bulldogs don’t have a game this week but will host Wayne September 8.
“We’re looking forward to playing Wayne,” Bolles confirmed.
The coach said additional players have joined the team bumping their numbers up to around 38.
