Made this for Easter and everyone loved it. Takes a little while to cut everything up but so worth it!
Broccoli Cauliflower Salad
4 cups of fresh broccoli cut into small pieces
4 cups of cauliflower florets cut into small pieces
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crumbled bacon
1 small red onion diced
For the Salad Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons of white sugar
1 and 1/2 Tablespoons of white vinegar
In a small bowl, mix the mayo, sugar, and vinegar.
Combine the raw broccoli, cauliflower, red onion, cheese, and crumbled bacon in a separate large bowl.
Pour the creamy dressing over the salad ingredients and toss until everything is well coated.
Let it sit for a couple of hours before serving so that the flavors have a chance to blend.
Store in an airtight container until you’re ready to serve it.
