The annual Okeyha Mothers Club Holiday Home Tour is scheduled for this Sunday, December 7, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Holiday Home Tour patrons will have the opportunity to view the homes of Kyle and Amanda Bates, 25196 Doe Creek Trail, in Purcell; Shad and Bri Blackwell, 15251 Indian Meridian Ave., in Wayne; Jason and Summer McIntire, 22855 Johnson Ave., in Purcell; and Jason and Samantha Tompkins, 24797 Norte Road, in Purcell.
Tickets may be purchased in advance for $20 through Venmo at @Okeyha-MothersClub.
If tickets are purchased through Venmo, the tickets will be earmarked for them to pick-up at the home of the Country Kitchen.

The Purcell Public Library will present the “Creativity Unleashed: Holiday Crafts! Sublimation Mugs” Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the meeting room of the library.
We all have an inner artist. Join us in discovering the endless possibilities of your creativity. You will be guided through this program exploring designing and sublimating a mug to produce your own work of art.
Supplies will be provided. No prior experience is necessary for this program. Program is come and go.

This month’s event will feature vintage and antique dealers lining the streets, food trucks, arts and crafts, homemade goods and more—all in a family-friendly atmosphere that celebrates creativity and local businesses.

Purcell’s Lights From the Heart at Chandler Park will be open nightly until Wednesday, December 31, from 5:30-10 p.m. nightly.
Over two miles of lights are available to drive through.
Admission is free but donations are appreciated.

The annual Christmas Home Tour sponsored by Mothers Entwined is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, from 1-4 p.m.

The Wayne Fire Department is holding its 36th annual Toy Drive.
Firefighters are currently accepting toy donations or cash donations to help them meet their goal.
Toys will be given to children at the department’s program December 14.

This is always a good choice on a cool evening.
Creamy Crockpot White Chicken Chili
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts trimmed of excess fat
1 yellow onion diced
2 cloves garlic minced
24 oz. chicken broth
2 15 oz. cans great Northern beans drained and rinsed
2 4oz. cans diced green chiles
15 oz. can whole kernel corn drained
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. cumin
3/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
4 oz. cream cheese. softened
1/4 cup half and half
Add chicken breasts to bottom of slow cooker, top with salt, pepper, cumin, oregano, chili powder and cayenne pepper.
Top with diced onion, minced garlic, great Northern beans, green chiles, corn and chicken broth. Stir.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Remove chicken to large mixing bowl, shred, then return to slow cooker.
Add cream cheese and half and half, stir, then cover and cook on high for 15 minutes, or until chili is creamy and slightly thickened.
